- The Project location is proposed at 52nd and Fillmore in Coachella, CA.
- The Project has not been formally submitted to city council for approval, however there are detailed plans available online including the developer’s, Stronghold Power Systems, website.
- On February 11th, 2026 the City of Coachella entered into a P3 Public-Private Partnership with Stronghold Power Systems after 9 months of negotiation and engagement with the city attorney. There was very little notice or involvement with the local community over this decision.
- The Project proposes 4 hyper centers in Phase 1: data centers that are over 1 million square feet each with a total capacity of 270 megawatts, placing it into the highest category of data center. There are two additional hyper centers proposed in Phase 2 for a total of 450 acres.
- According to DMK Project’s website they have partnered with Stronghold Power Systems for this project to deliver over 600 megawatts of capacity, far exceeding what has listed on Stronghold Power System’s website.
